Tax-free cash

Win £500 cash

You can win £500 in tax-free cash with Grand Draws for a small ticket price, or free by post. It is one of our smallest prize draws: the ticket count is capped low, which gives it some of the best odds on the site. The draw is independently verifiable and every result is published and checkable, and the £500 is paid straight to your bank. 18+.

  • 9pfrom, per ticket
  • 27,000tickets, capped
  • 1 in 1,080worst-case, 25 tickets

Tickets are sold in minimum orders of 25, so the smallest paid order on this draw is £2.25. Free postal entry has no minimum, and each entry carries the same odds as a paid ticket.

Why the £500 draw is a good one to start on

Five hundred pounds is one of the smallest draws we run, and that is its strength: the ticket count is capped low, so it carries some of the best odds on the board. It is a weekend away, a bill cushion, or simply a good week.

It is a natural place to start: a small ticket price, a low ticket cap, and the same verifiable draw and free postal route as every other competition. Tax-free, and we aim to pay within one working day of the winner being verified.

Winning £500, answered

How cheap is it to enter the £500 draw?

It is one of our lower-priced draws. The exact ticket price is shown on the competition page, and a free postal route is always available on the same odds.

Is £500 in winnings tax-free?

Yes. It is a tax-free windfall, so the whole £500 is yours with nothing deducted.

Does the £500 draw have better odds?

Better than most of our draws, yes. It has one of the smallest ticket counts we run, so for the same number of tickets your share of the draw is larger than in the bigger prize draws. Your exact odds are your tickets divided by the published total.

Can I win £500 without paying?

Yes, in two separate ways. The free postal route on this competition carries the same odds as a paid ticket and goes into the same draw, costing only a stamp. Separately we run a free £500 launch draw where there is nothing to buy at all and no stamp either, at /launch-draw.

How is this different from the free £500 launch draw?

They are two different things that happen to share an amount. This one is a paid prize competition: low-cost tickets, a published ticket cap so you can work out your odds, a skill question, and a free postal route beside it. The launch draw has no tickets and no skill question, nothing to buy, and it is one entry per person.
