It is a weekend away, a bill cushion, or simply a good week. It is a natural place to start: a small ticket price, a low ticket cap, and the same verifiable draw and free postal route as every other competition. Tax-free, and we aim to pay within one working day of the winner being verified. ## The £500 draw, opening soon [Free to enter £500](https://granddraws.co.uk/launch-draw) One entry per person [Enter free](https://granddraws.co.uk/launch-draw) [Opening soon £500](https://granddraws.co.uk/competitions/500-cash-opener) 27,000 tickets Opens 30 October 2026 **1/27,000** odds with 1 ticket [View this draw](https://granddraws.co.uk/competitions/500-cash-opener) [Enter free by post](https://granddraws.co.uk/free-entry) Same draw, same odds, no purchase necessary. ## Winning £500, answered **How cheap is it to enter the £500 draw?** It is one of our lower-priced draws. The exact ticket price is shown on the competition page, and a free postal route is always available on the same odds. **Is £500 in winnings tax-free?** Yes. It is a tax-free windfall, so the whole £500 is yours with nothing deducted. **Does the £500 draw have better odds?** Better than most of our draws, yes. It has one of the smallest ticket counts we run, so for the same number of tickets your share of the draw is larger than in the bigger prize draws. Your exact odds are your tickets divided by the published total. **Can I win £500 without paying?** Yes, in two separate ways. The free postal route on this competition carries the same odds as a paid ticket and goes into the same draw, costing only a stamp. Separately we run a free £500 launch draw where there is nothing to buy at all and no stamp either, at /launch-draw. **How is this different from the free £500 launch draw?** They are two different things that happen to share an amount. This one is a paid prize competition: low-cost tickets, a published ticket cap so you can work out your odds, a skill question, and a free postal route beside it. The launch draw has no tickets and no skill question, nothing to buy, and it is one entry per person. ## Other cash amounts [Win £10,000 View draw](https://granddraws.co.uk/win-10000-cash) [Win £5,000 View draw](https://granddraws.co.uk/win-5000-cash) [Win £1,000 View draw](https://granddraws.co.uk/win-1000-cash) [All cash prizes View all](https://granddraws.co.uk/win-cash-online) ## Be first when we open Paid competitions open 30 October 2026, and our free £500 launch draw runs 1 to 30 October.
