# Can You Trust a New Competition Site? Check Ours | Grand Draws > Grand Draws is new, with no winners list and no reviews yet. Here is exactly what you can verify instead of taking our word for it, starting with a free £500 draw. Source: https://granddraws.co.uk/welcome-draw --- # We are new. Here is what you can check. **Grand Draws has not run a draw yet, so we have no winners list, no payout total and no reviews.** Rather than ask you to trust us on that, our first draw is free: £500 in cash with nothing to buy. You can watch us run a real draw, see a real result published, and recompute that result yourself from public data. Then decide whether we are worth your money. ## What a brand new site cannot show you Every established competition site leads with the same three things: how much they have paid out, how many winners they have made, and how many five star reviews they hold. We have none of those, because we have not run a draw yet. We could invent them. Plenty do, and a fabricated winners list is one of the easiest things in the world to put on a website. It is also an automatically unfair commercial practice under UK consumer law, and more to the point it would make everything else we tell you worthless. So our results page is empty, our winners page is empty, and they stay that way until this draw produces a real person we have actually paid. What we can show you instead is the machinery, and that is the part most sites ask you to take on trust. ## Four things you can verify yourself - The draw method, before it runs We commit to a sealed seed before entries close and name the exact future beacon round that will decide the result. Naming a round that has already been published would void the whole guarantee, which is precisely why it is fixed up front. [How draws work](https://granddraws.co.uk/draws). - Any result, afterwards The checker re-fetches the public beacon live and recomputes the winning entry in front of you. If our published winner and your recomputation disagreed, you would see it immediately. [Try the draw checker](https://granddraws.co.uk/draw-check). - That the draw will actually happen Every draw goes ahead on its published closing date with the full prize, however many people entered. We do not move a closing date to sell more tickets, cancel for low sales, or reduce a prize. The free draw is drawn at 9pm on Friday 30 October 2026. - That free really means free No ticket price, no postage, and no card field anywhere in the signup or the entry. If you ever find a charge attached to it, something has gone wrong and we want to hear about it. [What no purchase necessary means](https://granddraws.co.uk/no-purchase-necessary). ## What a new account gets you Two things, both of which exist today rather than being promised for later. The first is a spin of the welcome wheel. Every segment on it pays something, starting at three free spins, and the published odds for each segment are shown on the wheel before you spin. You are not beating anyone to a prize, which is exactly why we can tell you the odds honestly. The second is the free rewards track: a daily check-in that builds a streak, levels that each pay a free spin, and credit you can put towards tickets once the paid board opens. None of it needs a purchase at any point, and if you never spend anything here that is a perfectly reasonable way to use the site. [See the rewards track](https://granddraws.co.uk/rewards). What you will not find is a vague joining bonus we have not built. If we offer something, it works the day we offer it. ## Questions about a new site ### Is Grand Draws legitimate? We are a real UK company and our promoter details, terms and complaints route are all published on the site. But we are new, so the honest answer is that you should not take our word for it. The draw method is designed to be checked by anyone, which is a stronger answer than a promise. ### Why should I trust a brand new competition site? On the free draw you do not have to, because it costs you nothing. What you can check is the mechanism: we publish a sealed seed and name the exact future randomness beacon round before entries close, then publish the secret half afterwards so anyone can recompute the winning entry. That is verifiable whether you trust us or not. ### Do you have any past winners I can look at? Not yet, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Our first draw has not been drawn. There is no winners list, no total paid out and no reviews, and any new site claiming those on day one is making them up. Our results page fills up from this draw onwards. ### What is a welcome or introductory draw? It is the first draw a new site runs, free to enter, to introduce itself. Ours is for £500 in cash with nothing to buy. The point is that you can judge how we run a draw before you ever consider spending anything. ### Is being early worth anything? Two real things, and nothing invented. Every new account gets a spin of the welcome wheel, where every segment pays something, starting at three free spins. And you join the free daily rewards track, which costs nothing and pays in free spins and site credit. That is what exists today. ### What happens after this draw? Our paid cash competitions open once payment processing and business banking are in place. Those work differently: low-cost tickets, a published ticket cap so you can calculate your own odds, a skill question, and a free postal entry route carrying exactly the same chance as a paid ticket. They are also limited to Great Britain, whereas this free draw is open across the UK including Northern Ireland. ## Related - [Enter the free £500 launch draw](https://granddraws.co.uk/launch-draw) - [The standards we hold ourselves to](https://granddraws.co.uk/standards) - [How we prove our draws are fair](https://granddraws.co.uk/guides/how-we-prove-our-draws-are-fair) - [How to spot a fake cash giveaway](https://granddraws.co.uk/500-pound-giveaway) ## Judge us on a free draw £500 in cash, free to enter, one entry per person.
