Grand Draws is a UK prize competition site run by HDCH Limited. Every paid competition has a genuine skill question and a free postal entry route, ticket caps and odds are published up front, and every draw goes ahead on its closing date with a result anyone can check. 01 ### Pick a draw Choose a cash competition from under a pound a ticket, or enter any draw free by post. 02 ### Answer the question A genuine skill question qualifies your entry. With the free postal route, it is what makes this a prize competition rather than a lottery. 03 ### The draw runs Each draw runs automatically at 9pm on its closing date, sold out or not, and anyone can recompute the result. Cash paid straight out. [See how it works in full →](https://granddraws.co.uk/how-it-works) *03* Member rewards ## Check in daily. Build your streak. *Win free extras.* Free to join and free to earn: daily check-ins and streaks add XP. Unlock wheel spins and free competition entries as you go. Buying tickets never earns rewards, so nothing here is tied to spending. Every paid Grand Draws competition has both, so it runs as a prize competition and needs no gambling licence. Our guide explains the rules in full. **How much does it cost?** Tickets start from 9p each, bought in minimum orders of 25. You can also enter any competition free by post. **What happens if a competition doesn't sell out?** It is still drawn automatically at 9pm on its closing date, and the full prize is awarded. We never cancel, postpone or shrink a draw because of low ticket sales. **Is there a free draw I can enter?** Yes. Our free £500 launch draw runs from 1 to 30 October: no purchase, one entry per person, 18+ UK. [Enter the launch draw free](https://granddraws.co.uk/launch-draw) . **How are winners chosen?** Winners are drawn using an independent public source of randomness, and every draw can be checked by anyone on our [verify a draw page](https://granddraws.co.uk/draw-check) . We can not influence the result and neither can you. **Do I pay tax on my winnings?** No. A UK competition prize is a one-off windfall, not income, so there is no income tax or capital gains tax on it: the amount you win is the amount that lands in your bank account. Interest it earns afterwards is taxed as normal. [Our tax guide](https://granddraws.co.uk/guides/do-you-pay-tax-on-competition-winnings-uk) explains it, with links to HMRC. **Who can enter?** Anyone aged 18 or over who lives in Great Britain, meaning England, Wales or Scotland. We verify age and identity before any prize is paid out. **How does free postal entry work?** Post us your details and the competition name following the steps on our [free entry route page](https://granddraws.co.uk/free-entry) . Postal entries go into the same draw with exactly the same odds as paid tickets. [How it works in full →](https://granddraws.co.uk/how-it-works) --- Grand Draws is a UK skill-based prize competition operator. It is not a casino, not a lottery and not gambling.
